Travelled to Spain, France and Italy on scholarships. Sold his first paintings to Peter Pears at Roland, Browse and Delbanco and
thereafter exhibited paintings in Cork street for twenty eight years.

and made a series of pots and bowls with her. Worked with the resident potter at the Poole Pottery.
