William Selby RSW RWS ROI RBA NEAC

Born in 1933, the eldest son of a miner, William Selby is self taught. A elected member of the RSW RWS ROI RBA NEAC Bill has also exhibited in the RA the RGI and RSA. Having won numerous painting awards over the years his work is in many major collections worldwide.

A leading colourist in British painting, his still lifes and landscapes mirror his
past as a miner; flashes of colour emerge from the soot like darkness like glistening minerals.
