Jack Morrocco
Born in Edinburgh in 1953 he studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of
Art.
Nephew of the late Alberto Morrocco OBE RSA and a founder member of the Dundee Group of artists, he has exhibited in the RGI and RSA annual exhibitions. Having many successful solo and group exhibitions in Scotland, UK, USA and France his work is in many corporate and private collections worldwide.
His dramatic yet sensitive nude paintings and still lifes are influenced
by the Scottish colourists and in contrast his stylised semi abstract paintings
have their influence from Picasso to his late uncle Alberto Morrocco OBE
RSA.
